  3. Some of the Ways We “Reach Out” As A Church
    1. Ministry to the poor .
      1. Psalm 41:1-3 (NLT) 1Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble.2The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies.3The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health.
    2. Sending small ministry teams out to minister.
    3. Doing “church renewal.”
    4. By giving 10% of our income as a church family to help support “mission-minded,” Christ-honoring organizations around the world.
    5. Church planting .
  4. Why Plant New Churches?
    1. It’s Biblical .
      1. Matt. 28:18-20 (NAS) 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
    2. New churches provide more options for “unchurched” people.
    3. Church Planting creates a permanent presence in a community in a way that mere evangelism doesn’t.
    4. Church planting is necessary because America is becoming increasingly de-churched.
    5. Church planting gives us an opportunity to spread Vineyard Values throughout the world.
  5. Conclusion
