- Money holds the allure of leading us to a place of inner satisfaction .
- The never-ending quest for “ It .”
- The two things that are “It” for me in my life:
- a. Doing God’s Will with all my heart.
- b. Doing it with people I love.
- Money promises to give us a sense of self - worth and importance.
- Eccl. 5:10 (NAS) He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity.
- I Pet. 1:18-19 (NAS) 18Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,19but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
