Family Ministry at VCNP builds families through Training and Community
Empowered Parenting. Empowered Parenting is a parenting small group program designed for those who want to build strong families and connect with other parents in order to learn and grow in the parenting process. It provides a safe place for parents to share experiences, struggles, and joys with others who are on the same journey. There are several small groups within the Empowered Parenting program, targeting specific parenting needs. For more information, or to register, click on the links below:
Family Small Groups. During any given semester, there are quite a few family-friendly groups offered where children are included in the format. Some groups are even geared toward families with special situations, such as Single Parenting and Blended Families. This is a great avenue to experience community and receive and extend encouragement to families like yours. Click on the links below for more information:
Parenting Classes. We offer parenting classes throughout the year to teach biblical parenting skills and provide parents with practical tools and support. For more information, click on the link below:
Child Dedication. In dedicating their child to the Lord, parents are committing to the responsibility of raising that child in the ways and instruction of the Lord. The dedication service provides the parents an opportunity to make this commitment public before God and the church family at VCNP. For more information, or to register, click on the links below:

Family Ministry at VCNP builds families through Fun
Preschool Storytime. Join other preschoolers and their families every weekend in July for a time of stories, fun, crafts and one-on-one time together. You can expect to spend an engaging morning discovering important lessons for life and biblical principles illustrated by silly characters and giggly wiggly stories. Family Fun Day/Baptism. Twice a year our church family gathers at a public pool for a church wide baptism. “Celebration” is the name of the game with swimming, crafts, food, contests, kids’ play areas, water balloon wars and lots more. Children’s 3 Point Ministry. Our Children’s Ministry program is designed to serve, teach and minister to the families of our church through their children, and is based on the “3 points” of Faith, Wisdom and Friendship. For more information, click on the link below:

Family Ministry at VCNP builds families by ministering to its Marriages
Marriage Ministry. A God-honoring marriage is at the heart of a God-honoring family. The Marriage Ministry at VCNP exists to encourage married couples and show them God’s true love for one another through love, prayer, fellowship and ministry. Opportunities for this include Marriage Connections—where couples meet here at the church to enjoy dinner out with other couples, a yearly Marriage Retreat and attending one of several Married Couples Small Groups.
