Regarding small groups; I am a parent of 2 small children so I have not had the opportunity to go through the small group training for leading a small group. During this time I have searched a small group that would allow me to attend and my children as well. I have been a member for over 2 years and I still have not had the opportunity to join one. My suggestion, if you find a leader that would be willing to do a small group during the week after 630p I will open my house. I would like it to be something around divorce/single parent, all ages of children are allowed. I can not be the only single parent with children at the Vineyard.

I have the same problem as Debbie. I am a single mother of three boys and would love to attend a small book but have been unable to. I tried to attend a group that was supposed to be for families but was told it was for traditional families and my children would put a strain on the other parents. This realy turned me off to small groups but if the right one was created I would give it anothertry.

Empowered Parenting has childcare! Currently on break but will resume in a couple of months! Keep checking the bulletin for start dates.

My husband and I went to the Empowered Parenting classes. I would truly recommend it to any parent. I can't wait until the Fall sessions. Also, scrapbooking is pretty awesome too every first Friday. One is coming up June 1, 2007.

Yes I did attend empowered parenting and I learned A LOT from the other families who are in my same situation. My kids are still talking about "family fun night" :-) We do plan on returning in the fall.

There still is the issue with small groups. It would be nice to have a group that could meet but also do other activities together (ex; hiking, zoo, science center...)

I had sign up to do the prayer from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.My work schedule has change I can not be there those days Sorry for the trouble Joshua
