Happy Easter And Board Of Adjustments Meeting
Happy Easter!
I am happy to report that we WON at the board of adjustments meeting last night at the City of Glendale!! It was a very intense, tense, and hard fought battle by both sides. But, by the end of the night, we were approved for our 45 foot height variance to build our new worship auditorium!
I want to thank you for praying for this meeting. Prayer is the thing that got us through.
I also want to especially thank those of you who actually attended the meeting last night. We had over 150 people there from our church and the City had to move the meeting out of the regular room these meetings are held in and hold it in the City Council Chambers because there were so many people from the church there. Your presence really made a huge difference in the outcome of this meeting! Thank you so much!
The neighbors now have 14 days to appeal this decision. If they do not appeal, then we move on to trying to obtain our conditional use permit from the city. If they do appeal, then we will have to do this all over again, but this time in front of the City Council. Please pray they do not appeal this decision as that will cost us a lot more time and money.
