I AM A SINGLE WOMAN LOOKING FOR A SINGLE MAN IN YOUR CHURCH.AND FOR FELLOWSHIP WITH OTHERS SINGLES LIKE MYSELF.AND TO FIND GOD AT THEE SAME TIME.

I am interested in attending a group for single adults. What is the average age of the adults in each singles group?

I am 19 years old and I am looking for a singles group. Would I be able to join this group?

Dear Stephen,Of course you would be welcome at any Single's event (assuming of course your single!). However, since your 19, I would suggest one of the Young Adult groups. You would probably find a lot more people near your age.

Do you have meetings for single seniors?

Dear Dalene,We don't have specific meetings, or small groups for single seniors. However you would be welcomed at any Single event or small group or any 50+ meeting. Many people who attend our Single's events fall into the "senior" age group.

IF I am going through a divorce, am I still allowed to go to the singles meetings?

Dear Raub, We ask that people who are in the divorce process not attend Single's meetings. Primarily because they are not actually single and also as a church we hope for reconciliation in marriages even when they are in the divorce process. We have seen God work miracles even at the last minute.

There are many, many small groups and events that are open to people going through divorce, including our divorce-care program which helps people through the pain and sorrow of divorce.

I hope I haven't hurt your feelings or made you feel unwanted. We as a church love all who come here and want the best for them and we will always try to provide a safe, godly atmosphere for all who call VCNP their home.

I would like to know about single events that are currently happening. I live less than one mile from your church and I am thinking of changing my membership but it is really important that there are events geared to those of us who are single. Could someone let me know who to call or when a current event is happening.Monday July 16, 2007

Is it possible to list the single events on the website a month in advance? This would really help those of us who have weekend/flexible work schedules. Thanks!

I belong to a VCF in the valley which does not have a singles group. I would like to interact in a safe, Godly enviroment that is FOR Christian singles. I'd like to get to know others I can interact with in bible studies, hobbies, events in the valley, worship, relational type meetings. I am not looking to find a husband but friends and be active in living a single life until God directs me to marry my best friend. Do you have something like this there? I would like to interact with others 40-55, what range do most of your singles fit in?

Dear Debra,

You would be welcome at any of our Single's events or small groups, there are many other Single Adults who feel just like you. Most of the Singles who take part in our Single's event are somewhere between 30 and 55. I hope that you get a chance to check out one of our upcoming events.

Do u still have singles events?

Hi, I am a 48yr old single female. I am not a member of Vineyard, but I do attend a great christian church. However there is not A singles group in my age range. I am looking to attend singles events, activities or even bible studies. I would like to meet someone that I can build a Godly, healthy relationship with. I am very excited about meeting other singles, I really believe it's time for me to get out and enjoy the life God has for me. What do you think.

Is this group a Bible Study or Sunday School Class? Where and when do you meet on a regular basis? I have never attended your church, but it would be nicer to be in a home church where we meet on a regular basis. I believe that is truly how you get to know others where you serve and fellowship together. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hello my name is Erick. I have found myself a single dad in my mid 40's and would definatly like to join other single adults in similar shoes so to speak. Who knows maybe even meet a nice Christian woman and improve my relationship with God at the same time.

Hi, My name is Mark. My daughter has been trying out new churches in the area that may be more where she believes she needs to be in this time in her spiritual journey. We go to a wonderful evangelical church. All my other adult children go there but this daughter is on a quest for personal growth (the young adult ministry in weak there), so here I sit with her in a new place. I guess I would like to participate in the singles activities as a start to learn and know the heart of the people that I am engaged in fellowship. Not really sure if it is men's ministry or singles where I should first plant and grow, but I would like to visit. Not really interested in single specific subjects but am interested in prayer and the study of Gods's word. My daughter is entering medical school and I believe that she has chosen a home.

We have a lot of places to plug in and get to know the people here at VCNP. We currently have about 105 small groups focusing on different aspects of living a Christian lfe. I would suggest you take a look at our small group catalog (available on-line or in our foyer) and find a small group that interests you (we do have small groups that focus on prayer, Bible studies, Men's and Single issues, so you should be able to find a group that interests you). I hope you, and your daughter, find a place to belong here at the Vineyard.
