Phase 2: Preparation for Church Planting
(15-12 months out)
During this phase the focus is to identify a coach and assess you as a potential church planter. Your coach will serve as your church plant assessor and development coach throughout the course of the church plant. The purpose of this phase is to sit down with a potential church planting coach and assess your strengths, weaknesses, vision, values, and experiences. From this assessment you will be reviewed and you will then begin to meet monthly with a church planting coach to begin the year long process of planting a church. From the assessment, there may be some things that must be dealt with before you would begin the year-long church planting process.
