Vineyard Church North Phoenix | Angel Tree

The Angel Tree program ministers to the families of prisoners by providing Christmas gifts to the children "from" their incarcerated parent. These are often the only gifts the children receive. Everyone's help is needed to brighten the holidays of these families who are missing their parent.

When you are a child whose parent is in prison, so are you. Your heart is locked behind a wall of loneliness. Your future is bound by shame. But Jesus came to set the captives free, and through the Angel Tree program our church can bring the love of Christ to prisoners' kids.

Right now in our community there are some children who are among the most at-risk children in the nation. It is so easy to connect with them through Angel Tree. Members of our church are seeking to make a difference by ministering to children of prisoners by participating in the Angel Tree program.

The Angel Tree program (through the Prison Ministry) starts with a prisoner registering with their prison chaplain. Our church receives a list of families and, through the generosity of our congregation, provide each child with two gifts - a clothing item and a "fun" item.

How Can You Get Involved?

Volunteer for the Angel Tree Ministry by one of these four ways:

1. Registration Signups (during any service on the following dates). Choose an Angel from the Christmas tree in the foyer and purchase a gift ($15 - $20). Suggestions are listed on each Angel tag. Giftcards are ALWAYS welcome as well. Return all gifts by Sunday, December 6, 2009.
   

2. Decorate the Angel Christmas Tree

3. Wrap Gifts

4. Give Out Gifts
   • Saturday, December 12 @ 1:00 P.M.
