How the New Building Will Increase Our Ministry Opportunities and Benefit You!
- New 67,000 square foot auditorium will seat 2,150—which means more seating at our popular service times
- Larger stage and sloped floor with theater style seating will enhance worship services, conferences, musical and dramatic presentations
- Greater opportunities to host community-wide events
- Large, comfortable lobby, for friends to relax and talk
- Welcoming Visitor Center within the lobby to help newcomers feel at ease
- Expanded bookstore
- Increased coffee bar space
- Our new, free-standing, 6,000 square foot facility will serve 80,000 people per year—currently we are able to serve 28,000 people a year
- Indoor reception area for clients
- More efficient distribution process (i.e. less waiting)
- Walk-in refrigerator, freezer and warehouse area to receive and store resources
- Increased hours of service
- Greater opportunities to pray for and minister to people
- Additional 10,000 square feet of classrooms with spacious lobby and hallways
- Classroom specifically for children with special needs
- Alternative program space for kids who attend more than one service
- Club 56 kids will move to the current youth room, with a larger stage and increased multi-media opportunities
- Junior high and senior high kids get to move into the existing auditorium
- This move will open the doors for more dynamic ministry through worship, music and drama
- Increased space for youth volunteers and staff to plan great programs
- More space = more ministry opportunities. As we add space, we can add programs, classes and ministry opportunities. Here are just some of the ideas we're working on:
- Singles' movie nights
- Fellowship events
- More workshops at large events, such as conferences and women's events
- More specialty group gatherings, such as scrapbooking
- Broader range of classes to meet spiritual and practical needs
- Creative outreaches to the community
- More opportunities for personal counseling
