Brian's 2007 Congregational Christmas Letter

I hope this e-mail finds you enjoying the Christmas season and not feeling too stressed out over it!
We had a wonderful Ground-breaking ceremony this past Sunday night! Ed Beasley, the City Manager for the City of Glendale, was there and shared some very kind words with us about our church. It’s so nice to partner with our City to be a blessing to our City, rather than being at odds with our City over issues of relatively non-importance! The City of Glendale really appreciates the way we reach out and bless our community in ways they never could!
This next year is going to be an exciting time as we see these new buildings go up. Always remember, these new buildings represent changed lives!
I want to also remind you about our upcoming Christmas Eve services. Since Christmas Eve is on a Monday this year, we are planning on having our 5 weekend services we normally have be our “Christmas Eve” Services, and we will add an additional Christmas Eve service on Monday evening at 6:00pm. All 6 of these services will be exactly the same and they will all be "Christmas Eve" services in their theme. Our theme this year for Christmas Eve is "The Gift: Choose Wisely."
I think these are going to be great services! Please be praying about who you can invite to one of these special services. You never know what God might do in a person's life just because of your simple invitation to them! You may want to attend more than one of these services and invite different guests to different services! There are special Christmas Eve invitation cards available in the foyer. Please pick some up and invite some people with them!
I hope and pray this Christmas season is an extra special one for you and your family and friends. I hope to see you in church this weekend!
Blessings,
Brian
