Covering the Homeless
What started out as a small blanket giveaway in the inner city during the winter time has grown into a much larger blanket, personal hygiene, clothing, and food distribution accompanied by a free hot dog lunch.
Volunteers help donate, collect, transport or give away items to those living on the streets of downtown Phoenix.
Covering the Homeless is a Christmas party for the homeless men and women of Phoenix. We will serve an estimated 1200 homeless people.
We are in need of the following: blankets, jackets, backpacks, shoes, men’s winter clothing, and hygiene items. Please mark your donations “CTH” and place it in the Clothing Box on the east side of the Compassion Building.
