Description of Ministry
Greeter Team: Our greeters are our first line of welcome for both guests and members. They hand out bulletins and smiles. If you're friendly, have a great smile and a love for people we need you on the greeter team.
Secret Greeters: Our secret greeters greet people informally in the auditorium.
Greeter Training: New greeters are paired with seasoned greeters who "show them the ropes." We offer quarterly training and encouragement meetings to keep our greeters informed of all opportunities on campus.
Why does this ministry exist?
The vision of the greeter ministry is to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests and members. Our goal is to greet each guest warmly and make their visit a positive experience. Greeter team members are friendly and inclusive in nature. They strive to make each person they greet feel valued and at home.
First Serve Opportunity: Work with our Greeter Team to welcome VCFNP Guests. This "First Serve" opportunity is available every weekend, just report to the Information Counter in the foyer thirty minutes before any service and tell them you are interested in "First Serving" in the greeter ministry.
