- Reasons to Worship God
- When I worship God, my mind is on something besides me !
- When I worship God, it produces a Spirit of gratitude in me.
- Psalm 100:4 (NAS) Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
- I Thess. 5:16-18 (NAS) 16Rejoice always; 17pray without ceasing;18in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
- When I worship God, my struggles lose their power to cause me to despair .
- Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) 17Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty,18yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
- When I worship God, it connects me to other people in a way no other activity can.
- Exodus 19:16-17 (NLT) 16On the morning of the third day, thunder roared and lightning flashed, and a dense cloud came down on the mountain. There was a long, loud blast from a ram’s horn, and all the people trembled. 17Moses led them out from the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.
- When I worship God, it blesses the Heart of God !
