VCNP Leadership Monthly for March 2009
March, 2009
Greetings,

I wanted to update you some information about some things going on at the Vineyard.
Our new Children's Ministry addition has had some delays, but we are hoping it will be completed within 3 or 4 more weeks.
I know it has been difficult in some of the current Children's Ministry rooms with this construction. I really appreciate those of you who are volunteering in Children's Ministry, and especially those of you who have had to deal with less than ideal conditions recently to do it! Thank you for your patience during this time of construction. You are making a difference in the lives of others!
Hopefully, this phase of our building project will be behind us at least by the end of this month. Once we are in the new Children's Ministry addition, it is going to really help us to minister more effectively to more children! Praise God for that!
Our new Worship Auditorium continues to progress. In fact, at our Leadership meeting on Sunday night, March 29th, we are all going to go into the new Auditorium and briefly tour it!
During our time in the new Auditorium, we will also have the opportunity to write Scripture verses, or the names of loved ones we are praying will be saved in the new Auditorium, on different places in the building (certain unfinished floor areas and walls, etc.). I wanted you to know so you could come prepared for that.
You won't want to miss the March 29th Leadership meeting! You guys, our leaders, will be the first ones to get to go inside the new Auditorium and see what our new "home" is starting to look like!
One other bit of news I want to pass on has to do with our upcoming Easter services. Easter is on the weekend of April 11-12. To accommodate all of the people we anticipate coming to the Vineyard that weekend, we are going to add one additional service on Sunday, April 12th.
The additional service will be a Sunrise Service and it will begin at 7:00AM. The Sunrise Service will be held in the Main Auditorium, just like the other services. I think it will be kind of cool to do a Sunrise Service that morning! You may want to attend that service in lieu of one of the others.
In fact, I want to ask you as leaders and major volunteers at the Vineyard to please consider attending one of our lesser attended services that weekend.
We expect record numbers of people trying to attend our 10:00AM and 11:30AM services that weekend. So, to make room for them, if you could attend either of the services on Saturday night (4:30PM or 6:00PM), or either of the first two services on Sunday morning (The Sunrise Service at 7:00AM or the 8:30AM service), that would help tremendously to make room for guests, many of whom have yet come to know Christ personally.
Also, begin thinking and praying about who you can invite to our Easter services this year. I will be preaching a message called, "Our Ultimate Hope" as I talk about Jesus being just that. I think it will be a great service.
We will have invitation cards for Easter available soon, and also the ability to invite people with E-vites on our website, too. Please take advantage of both of those options to invite people. Remember, you never know what God might do in someone's life if you will just invite them!
Thanks again for all you do to help make Vineyard Church of North Phoenix the church that it is! I love and appreciate each of you so much.
See you this weekend!
Love,
Brian
