The Easter Weekend Service was OUTSTANDING, AWESOME, and DEEPLY MOVING. My husband came with me, he is a C&E guy and only joins me on Christmas and Easter. This was our first Easter at Vineyard and I have never been so grateful in my whole Christian walk to have him sitting beside me in a service. I've been praying and not so patiently waiting for him to become a born again Christian since I did just over 6 years ago. It has been the hardest and most painful 6 years of my life. And today I realized that pain and impatience is not because my husband hasn't given his life to Christ just yet but because of all my garbage that I've been clinging to. I have been fooling myself into thinking I was building a bridge for my husband but because of all my "only ifs" I realized today that I have built a very strong wall. So, while today was yet another painful pruning and more self awareness of my selfish pride and control it was also the one day of my Christian walk that I have felt the biggest rush of HOPE and Joy EVER! No matter how bad I've messed things up I now know that my King has one more move and it's NOT OVER YET!!!! THANK YOU VCNP and Pastor Brian for delivering His Word so honestly and lovingly.
