Matt Turrigiano has been on staff here at VC since 2008. Matt and his wife Rebecca have been in full-time ministry since 2004, when they left New York City and a career in education to serve as the assistant pastor at the Bristol Vineyard in Bristol, England. As a worship leader Matt has been heavily involved with training and equipping within the Vineyard movement and has been a featured worship leader on Vineyard Worship recordings in the UK and US. His heart and passion is to raise up leaders and see people transformed by the presence of God through worship. Matt and Rebecca are blessed to have four sons, Joshua, Noah, Jacob and Sam who they think are some of the coolest young men around and one incredible daughter-in-law, Shannon and Caleb, their grandson!.

Without a doubt, Italy...do I really need to explain this???
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Two choices: Play first base for the New York Yankees, closely followed by a photojournalist for the New York Times stationed overseas
What do you like to do in your spare time?
What spare time? I have 4 kids and work here at VC! I enjoy dinner parties with fine food & wine with my wife & close friends; films; traveling; dates with Becca; searching for the next piece of vintage/boutique guitar gear.
If you could go back in time when you were 15 yrs old, what advice would you give yourself?
Don't eat/drink that...you'll be sorry in your 30's!
What do you want written on your tombstone?
Faithful husband, father and servant to the end, loved & cherished...Job well done!
If you could sit & talk with anyone who has ever lived, besides Jesus, who would it be?
Jesus' brothers (not James)...they must have great stories; Meriwether Lewis/William Clark...they must have great stories too!; Jackie Robinson; Vincent Van Gogh; Paul David Hewson & David Howell Evans
What is your best memory of childhood?
Probably playing in the old Yankee Stadium and winning a state champion in Baseball
Who is the most interesting person you've ever met?
Too many to name!
If you could have any super-power what would you choose & what would your Superhero name be?
My superpower would be the ability to excrete cheese, but depending on my mood the cheese would change. For example, when I am angry I would spew limburger but when I am happy I would excrete mozzarella or goat cheese! I would be called "The Big Cheese."
What is your nickname, or if you don't have one what would you want it to be?
Don't have one until recently when Biggie T made his debut, but most people could never pronounce my name in college, so I was called "Turge"

Extrovert, most of the time!
