Mario graduated from L.I.F.E Bible College in Los Angeles in 1984. He came to Vineyard North Phoenix in the fall of 1990 and in November of 1996, Mario came on staff as an Associate Pastor. Mario and DaNetta have three children: Lindsay, Matthew, and Grace.

If you had to move to another country, where would you go and why?
I would move to Italy because they have incredible church history, great food and I like the fact that their country is shaped like a boot.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I would like to be a cook on a food truck or a Zamboni driver .
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Mountain bike ride, hike, yard work and shopping at Costco.
If you could go back in time when you were 15 yrs old, what advice would you give yourself?
Don't worry about what she is going to say, just ask her out.
What do you want written on your tombstone?
If you could sit & talk with anyone who has ever lived, besides Jesus, who would it be?
Adam. I would like to get more details on life before the fall and what happened during the fall.
What is your best memory of childhood?
How exciting Christmas Eve and Christmas morning was. Birthdays were pretty good too.
Who is the most interesting person you've ever met?
Tom Quaid is the most interesting person I have ever met. Seriously, he has boxed with Sugar Ray Leonard, graduated from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, has read more books than most public libraries own, played goalie for a professional soccer team under the name â El Tigre and has seen every cool movie and can quote their lines at a drop of a hat. Apart from that really cool guy on the beverage commercial, he truly is the 2nd most interesting man in the world.
If you could have any super-power what would you choose & what would your Superhero name be?
The ability to sleep for 8 hours straight. My superhero name would be "The Sultan of Slumber". To think I actually had that super-power as a teenager is crazy, but now that I am in my 50s I have to live life as a sleep deprived middle-aged man. Truly, "Youth is wasted on the young."
What is your nickname, or if you don't have one what would you want it to be?
I currently don't have one, but would like it to be "T-bone". No particular reason other than it just seems to drip with swag.

Introvert with some learned extrovert tendencies.
