The maintenance supervisor shall be responsible for the following.
- Oversee all aspects of setups, tear-downs and resets as requested by staff and non-staff for entire facility, events and various programming.
- Supervise and schedule full and part time maintenance staff, Community service workers and volunteers.
- Work with contracted landscaping company to maintain a well kept and appealing landscaped campus.
- Oversee building maintenance. Keep all facilities in excellent repair which includes painting, repairing and scheduling maintenance as it falls outside the scope of your abilities.
- Work with the campus director as needed to ensure a safe, clean campus.
- Obtain 2-3 bids each time a contracted campus upgrade or major maintenance issue arises to ensure we save money. Always shop for the best price. When unsure consult with campus director.
- Oversee and direct the purchase of all cleaning, maintenance and janitorial supplies to ensure VCFNP is getting the best price while maintaining quality of items purchased.
- Perform bi-yearly reviews of maintenance staff and when completed discuss them with the campus director.
- Assist campus director in the hiring process as positions become available for maintenance.
- Train all new maintenance staff and conduct ongoing training as needed to ensure a safe, clean, well maintained campus.
- Encourage your maintenance staff and pray for them daily.
