Our counseling is done by pastoral staff and lay persons who rely on their knowledge of scripture and wisdom / guidance from the Holy Spirit. We are not licensed medical providers. Our program is designed to be augmented by your regular church attendance, consistent participation in a small group, and sometimes recommending professional clinical counseling outside of VC.
We believe much healing can come through support and encouragement from having Christian community around you. Although premarital counseling is free, there is a $35 charge to cover the cost of Prepare/Enrich inventory assessment. There are usually six sessions.
Premarital counseling should be completed one month prior to the wedding date.
