VC Kids

VC Kids is a great place for your children (birth to 5th grade) to learn about God, the Bible, and themselves.

The center of our program is Kids Church held during weekend services. We have a fun, safe environment where kids can feel loved and valued while learning core truths about themselves and God.

The doors open 20 minutes before each service to accommodate dropping off your children. When you arrive for the first time, a friendly volunteer or staff member will get your children checked in, guide you to their classrooms, and answer any questions you may have. After that first visit, your kids can be easily checked in by you at the kiosks in the kids church lobby.

From nursery through 5th grade, we’re excited to team up with parents to create a strong foundation of Worship, Prayer, Truth (God’s Word), and Love in the hearts of our children!

Worship

We aim to inspire kids to worship God in all circumstances, in fun times and in difficult times.

Pray

We aim to empower kids to pray for one another, helping them understand that God is their friend and they can talk directly to Him anytime.

Truth

We aim to teach kids to seek the truth in all things, by reading the Bible, God's word.

Love

We aim to show kids to love one another, just as Jesus does - without prejudice.

Parent Corner

Parenting is hard! We all need direction and support from time to time. Come check out the Parent Resource Corner in the VC Kids building for books and other resources to help you! Located across from classroom VK 119, this area is full of books and other free resources to help you tackle the hard work of parenting your children well. You can also find more parent resources here.

Special Friends

We encourage and support families with special needs so that each member of the family can actively engage in our church community.

Accommodations and support for children with special needs can be arranged during our 11 AM Sunday service, but unfortunately cannot be offered to first time guests.

Safety

VC Kids treats the safety of your children as the utmost priority. All VC Kids volunteers & staff undergo background checks and are trained in safety protocols to ensure children have a safe, fun environment in which to experience God’s love.

Volunteer

Are you looking to help with children’s ministry? We have a wide variety of positions for you to choose from. To get started, watch the video below and then take the online VC Kids Crew Orientation class. It will give you the information you need to make an informed decision about serving with our children. At the end you can fill out the online application and we’ll get in touch!

Child Dedications & Baptism

Child dedication is a commitment made by parents to God, giving themselves to the work of laying a godly foundation in the life of their child.

Water Baptism is for any people (typically older than 5 years into adults) who decide to follow Jesus.
