Our focus is on relationships with the leaders of the churches and church plants encouraging them through council, friendship, and bringing short-term missions teams on a regular basis that help with training, equipping, outreach, construction projects, etc.
Our goal is to help these churches establish indigenous self-sustaining church planting movements.
Our regular short-term missions trips:
We take short-term mission trips to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) to support our Vineyard church plant there (Viña Cristiana Puerto Peñasco led by Kevin and Yola McShane). Our work centers around ministering to the surrounding communities, building relationship with the native people and outreaches. Puerto Peñasco is a 4 hour drive from Phoenix, which makes this connection our closest and easiest short-term mission trip for VC members.
Almost every year since 2001 a team goes to Tegucigalpa & Comayagua, Honduras where we join with local church La Viña Comunidad Cristiana training, equipping, encouraging, helping with building projects, and more. Our Missions pastor Jenny Hernandez and her husband, Josué, lead the Vineyard USA Honduras Partnership that serves as a hub for other Vineyard USA churches wanting to connect with Honduran Vineyard churches and their work in this beautiful country.
We make regular visits to India, working with a team of people outside of Delhi.
Be sure to designate either “India, Honduras, or Mexico Missions”.
