Kids & Youth reopening this weekend!

Greetings,

It was so great to have in person services this past weekend! Wow, just to see people, and worship with people we haven’t seen for over 5 months was amazing!

It was also great to see so many people continue to join us online!

No matter where we are gathered, we are one church!

This coming weekend we will be reopening our Kids and Youth ministries. We would love to have your whole family join us for church in person!

I know this is a big decision for those of you who are parents of school aged kids and younger. If you are not comfortable returning to in person services with your children yet, I completely understand.

However, we have many procedures in place in order to create as safe an environment as possible for your children to attend church in person.

Click below and watch the video above for some of the safety measures we have in place for reopening our Kids and Youth ministries:

I can’t wait for this coming weekend and I hope to see even more of you in person!

Blessings,

Brian

P.S. If you want to join us in person this coming weekend, don’t forget to check out our recommendations for health and safety on the homepage.

Reopening in-person August 22-23!

Greetings!
In my last update, I told you that we were hoping we could start meeting on
campus again sometime in August.

We now feel like we are able to give you a date for that. We are planning and
preparing to reopen our campus for in person services on the weekend of
August 22-23.

Making church a safe place as we begin to gather together again is one of
our highest priorities! Our goal is to follow Jesus’ second Greatest Commandment that says,“You shall love your neighbor as yourself!” We believe that making decisions that attempt to create a safe environment for the most vulnerable among us is one of the best ways we can do that!

Because of this, things will be a little different than before COVID-19. For example, we will be asking each family group to keep 2 empty seats between them and the next family group. We will also be asking every attendee to wear a face mask for the entire service.

I know that several of you are in a high-risk category, or maybe you just don’t feel comfortable coming back yet to in person services. If that’s you, I want you to know that is totally OK! We will be continuing our online services for anyone and everyone who does not want to join us on campus for a while.

In fact, if you are sick or not feeling well, please stay home and stay safe!

Our Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry will not be resuming on August 22-23 as we want to give people 1 week to readjust to coming back to church. However, the next weekend — August 29-30 — we will begin having both Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry! I can’t wait!

I can’t believe that it has been 5 months since we last met in person for a
weekend service! Thank you so much for your patience and faithfulness as
we’ve waited together for what we believe is the right time to begin meeting
together in person.

Barring any unforeseen development taking place that might cause us to
rethink the timing of this, I’m looking forward to worshipping with many of
you in person starting August 22-23.

As we move towards the reopening date, we will also be doing a live service
for our Core Leaders and staff on Thursday evening, August 13 at 6:30 PM,
that will be streamed for the rest of our church family the weekend of
August 15-16.

In the meantime, I hope you’ll continue to join us online!

Blessings,

Brian

P.S. If you are wondering, “Why reopen now?,” we’ve prepared this document
that addresses that question.
